Kids Pepper Sprayed By Police In Classroom Activity

Update: After we posted this article, the school pulled their post about the incident. Thankfully, the internet never forgets.

Statist: A person whose allegiance to their country's government is so strong, it turns into a religion. They will deny all logic and evidence of danger to follow their false idols.

Barberton High School located in Barberton,Ohio has become the target of a recent viral internet video involving police. This video differs from most viral videos because the officers are not roughing up unarmed suspects. Instead, they have ready and willing participants in a demonstration. What would make such a timid video so controversial?

Teacher that uploaded the original video to the school Facebook.

Answer: The fact that the willing participants are all children, under the age of 18, participating in a high school classroom activity.

The class is called criminal science and technology. From the information we gathered based on online comments by the students and parents, this is a normal class with nothing special or private about it. The students have ongoing & frequent police contact as a precursor to the criminal justice system. Presumably, the students are being given a chance to see early education from the perspective of the Courts.

I want to begin by saying that I'm torn on this issue. I'm totally against government-mandated numbers to be able to be called an "adult". Presumably, at the age of 18 one is mature enough to sign a contract and even go to war (whole other blog topic all together), but not to have a beer. These arbitrary numbers are strictly meant as a system of control- in my opinion. Each person is different; therefore, the blanket rules seem silly to me. Should a high schooler be able to consent to a contract? In my opinion, yes. That being said, should these "kids" be able to consent to be pepper sprayed? After much thought, I think yes. However, that's from my own moral & Libertarian beliefs. I believe a family and its choices should be kept out of government hands all together. Allowing government to play a part in parenting has given them an untold amount of power of us- IN MY OPINION.

Let's be clear, that's my opinion. We don't live in a Libertarian Society. We live in a society where our government has so many rules, it takes professionals to keep up with all the laws. In that Society, even going to school is not a voluntary action. The school is a mandated form of "Education". In this country, "children" (under the age of 18) can not consent to even buying a car, let alone being assaulted by an adult authority figure. In this country, police are tax-paid and tax-funded public servants.

These tax-paid adults were entrusted by parents to protect their children. The presumed goal was to teach and guide them. Sadly, most people can not think for themselves. Having this blind faith in all things government has led the majority of this country into total brainwashed obedience. Free-thought and resistance have become things of the past when it comes to "Government Suggestions."

When the permission slip got sent home for this extracurricular activity, most parents thought it would be a good life lesson. Most kids were excited to show their friends how tough they were. None of them dared refuse- in fear of ridicule and public rejection. This is high school. Remember how dumb we were? "Jackass" and "Tom Green" were what we thought was cool.

Add the love for authority and a shiny badge to that perfect storm and I'm sure the kids were begging to be part of it. But should it be OK? Should a school of learning be teaching pain? Should cops play an active role in law-abiding children's class activity? If you did this at home with your child, would children's services call you a child abuser? Should tax dollars intended for police supplies include extras for "demonstrations" and "fun"?

For all of those reasons, I say this is a completely scary level of statism. Are cops so sadistic and bored that they would use chemical warfare on children for fun? There is no purpose for this at all. None. If I put out a video right now of me pepper spraying my child, the police would be at my door within 24 hours with an arrest warrant for me. So why is it OK for them? Why would these parents allow strangers to physically harm their kids? Is the brainwashing so complete at this point that the statists will give their children over at the states request to be tortured just because they call it "educational"?

I urge you all, wake up. Realize the Freedom Paradox you are living in- before you wake up and realize you could have stopped it. Stop letting these schools introduce children to police at younger and younger ages. Teach your children to question everything or they will grow up like these parents.
